Junior Tour Stage 3: On the Limit

On the Limit…
A great day today, some really hard racing. The terrain was flat to start with however the up and down nature of the Irish lumpy roads soon sapped the legs. Coming into the last 10 there was still a size field all together with no riders out front. I partly guessed it was going come down to bunch gallop. My team “Mr Price South Africa” were all present and accounted for and ready to do battle. I was just happy to be able to come in with the field. Rounding the last major corner, riders shot off the front in a bid to win the stage. Hugh Carthy of Maxgear was the clear winner by 12 seconds followed in by a group of 7 other riders fighting it out for the remaining places. I came in with Chris Lawless of Maxgear 57 seconds down off the race winner, I’m sure Chris was happy for this team mate. I’m just glad I managed to stay with the main field today, I learning each day and feeling stronger..
See you tomorrow: Conor
