FIRST GOLD FOR TEAM COMERAGH 2012

On the opening weekend of the 2012 season, Team Comeragh are celebrating our first win with 11 year old Cian O’Keeffee taking gold in the Junior section of the Spokes duathalon in Tramore last Saturday.  The duathlon consisted of a run, followed by a cycle and finishing off with another run which Cian won comfortably.

Cian joined Comeraghcc in the latter half of 2011 and will be a member of the newly established “Comeragh Youth Academy”. Cian from Tramore, who is 11 but will ride under 12 has already wore the Comeragh colours in the Wexford Wheelers Hamper race in December where he finished 3rd, not bad for his first time out.  Watch this space, I’m sure we will be seeing more from Cian throughout the season, from all your clubmates, a big congratulations Cian, may it be the first of many.
